To create a dummyObject (Action tag) click the little tape measure. In the front view port make you dummyObject01. Notice in the picture above its not within the box. That wont work. So move it within the box.

This is where the dummyObject01 should be. If its not with your model, you wont be able to submit. Now lets link.

On the toolbar click the Link button. The quickest and easiest way to link, is first select your col model

Now on your keyboard hit your "H" key that will bring up the little window as show above. Be sure to put a check beside "Display subtree". This will show you that you have your models linked to the dummy01 object. Then highlight dummy01, click the link button. Then select the lod0 model, and do the samething again. Now go up to EDIT/CLONE. Default name should be LOD01. Then link again. One more time for LOD02. '''YAY Almost done!!!
